About Pete’s Stop in San Jose, CA

A Legacy of Quality Service Since 1979

Four Decades of Family Commitment to San Jose

Pete’s Stop has been serving the San Jose community for more than four decades with reliable automotive services. Founded in 1979 by Pete Sialaris, our family business began as a combination mechanic shop and fuel station, growing to operate six locations throughout the area during its peak years. When Pete retired after years of successful operation, most locations were sold, but one special location remained in the family. After the longtime tenant, in place for 40-plus years, passed away and various rental attempts proved unsuccessful, we decided to take back control of our father’s original vision. Today, we’ve completely remodeled the facility inside and out, transforming it into a modern tire shop that honors our family’s automotive heritage while embracing the latest in tire technology and customer service.
